Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack
The first layer lands on a Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack, which leaves an even, satin-smooth face. Photographs read cleanly, close to a matte print on paper. If you are not sure, pick this one.
Fitting it, and everything people ask first
One panel fits every 2026 machine. It comes off with one pull and goes back on with one press. If something does not line up, it is on us, and the last section says what to do.
Fitting it

Pull
Grip the bottom edge of the stock panel and pull straight out. There is no tool and nothing to unclip.

Check
Wipe the magnet pads on the chassis. Dust is the only thing that causes a visible gap.

Place
Hold the new panel by the edges, line it up with the strip below and let the magnets take over.

Press
One press along the bottom edge. Keep the stock panel in the box it came in.

Finishes on the Photo Series
same print, different surfaceThe print itself is identical for all three. What changes is the surface the first layer lands on, and that is the face you end up looking at. Photos of the three finishes are on the way; the swatches below are illustrations.
Textured included
Textured PEI plate
Printed face-down on a textured PEI plate. The fine, even grain scatters light, so the panel shows almost no reflections and fingerprints disappear into the surface. Slightly rawer look than smooth, same price.
Wood +€3,00
3 mm linden wood layer
We print directly onto a 3 mm layer of linden wood, so the grain carries through the lighter parts of the image. No two boards have the same grain, so no two panels come out the same. Costs €3 extra; that is what the wood costs us.
Fit and compatibility
Does it fit both the 512 GB and the 2 TB machine?
Yes. At the front the two models are the same: outline, magnet positions and apertures all match. One panel fits both.
Will it block the light bar or the front ports?
No. The light bar, both USB-A ports and the microSD slot sit in the chassis strip below the panel, so a faceplate never covers them.
Does a solid panel make the machine run hotter?
Barely. The chassis draws through the front, and a solid panel matches the airflow path of the stock panel. Our vented designs lose under 6 % of intake flow compared to bare; solid ones sit within measurement error of stock.
Materials and finish
What is it printed in?
Matte PLA, everything we sell today. The wood panels use a wood-fill PLA with real wood particles through it.
Why does the wood look vary between panels?
Wood-fill filament contains real wood particles and every batch differs slightly in tone. We sand and oil each panel, and we will photograph yours before shipping if you ask.

Who am I actually buying from?
Steam Machine Prints is one of the brands of Ekinsol, a small company near Bruges that has been 3D printing since 2024. EKINSOL BV (VAT BE 0740.479.291) is what you will see on the invoice and on your bank statement, and it is who you deal with for returns and warranty.
How fast do you ship?
Panels in stock are printed, finished and dispatched within 48 hours. Made-to-order designs take about six days. Tracked shipping across the EU; free over €49 in Belgium and its neighbours, carrier rate for the rest.
Can I return it if I just do not like it?
Yes. Thirty days, opened or not. We only ask that the panel comes back without deep scratches so we can pass it on as a second.
